Registration for the Virtual Running of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race will be open March 15 - June 4.

Switching Races

Atlanta Track Club members can switch categories from the in person race to the virtual race through June 4. You can switch races within your haku account. Follow the steps below or click here for detailed instructions on switching on mobile or click here for instructions for switching on your desktop:

  • Sign into your account here
  • Click on the "Your Registrations" tab
  • Click to edit/view registration
  • In the bottom right corner click "Registration Options" and switch categories

All non Atlanta Track Club members will need to contact questions@atlantatrackclub.org in order to switch categories.

Virtual Race Kits

Race kits will be shipped after July 4 to preserve the tradition of the Peachtree finisher shirt. Race finisher's kit includes: finish T-shirt, commemorative bib and commemorative medal (only if purchased during registration). Numbers are available to be downloaded. Virtual Participants are not required to attend the expo.

Finisher kits are only shipped to those who submit their time and proof.

Virtual Results Submission

Those selecting the Virtual Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race 10K option will be asked to complete their race and submit results between July 1 and July 5 at 12:00 p.m. All registrants will receive an email on June 30 with a dedicated link to submit their results. There is no course limit for the virtual event. You are welcome to complete your distance in the time that feels best for you. Click on the video below to follow steps on how to submit your result.

VIRTUAL RACE DAY STEPS

  • Start planning a 10K route ahead of time.
  • Pick a day and time to participate between July 1 and July 5
  • Download and print virtual race bib with link above (optional step)
  • Virtual Peachtree participants may not participate in person on the Peachtree Road Race course on July 4
  • Remember to track your run with your wearable device, tracker or app of your choice.
  • Lay out the clothes you will wear including shoes, socks, race bib and safety pins
  • Hydrate throughout the day (don't forget to include electrolytes)
  • Get a good night's rest and remember sleep during the previous week matters more than just the night before race day

Virtual Peachtree FAQs

How do I track my time?

You may use your wearable device, favorite tracking app, or a regular watch to track your time. The submission link only requires an elapsed time to be recorded. There is no official Peachtree Road Race app. You will be required to add proof via link or a photo. Once you successfully submit your time, you will receive an email confirmation. Check out the leaderboard to see how your time compares to other virtual participants.

What kind of proof do I need to submit?

You will need to submit a link or a photo as proof of completion of your virtual event.

Your. link can be copied and pasted into the url box.

Or you can upload a photo (a screenshot from your tracking app, a selfie or other photo of you on your run).

How do I get my submission link?

Submission links will be emailed to you. If you do not see that email, you can access the submission link during the submission window if your account. In your account, at the top on your dashboard look for an important reminder to submit your virtual results. The link is to submit is there.

Do I need to run with a bib?

There is no requirement to run with a bib. In your submission email you can download a virtual bib that you can print and wear during your run. We will send you a commemorative bib as part of your finisher's kit.

Do I need to attend the Peachtree Health & Fitness Expo presented by Publix?
No. Virtual participants are not required to attend the expo as they will not have bibs to pickup. However, the expo is free and open to the public if you'd like to shop and check out our sponsors.
How will I receive my finisher's shirt?

All those that complete their event submission will be shipped their finisher's kit beginning July 5. Look for an alert from UPS with your tracking information.
